The new compact Reichmann fettling center RFC 500 was developed for fully automatic surface grinding, deburring and cutting of iron casings. The machine concept is particularly suitable for small and medium batch sizes. The automatic casting finishing machine offers the best access to the machining points on the cast part and has a CNC-controlled five-axis machine concept for spatial processing. Cast iron castings are deburred automatically, quickly and with consistent quality and your employees are relieved.
Compared to the proven RFC 800, the RFC 500 offers a compact alternative for smaller iron castings up to 50 kg. The machine therefore takes up little space and is particularly cost-effective.
The deburring, grinding and cutting machine is designed for the rough grinding operation in foundries. All guides and machine elements are effectively protected against the ambient conditions.
A main tool spindle and an additional tool spindle are available for machining the cast parts. In order to achieve optimal accessibility of the tools on the cast part, they can be pivoted flexibly. In addition, the workpiece can be moved freely on the table in the operating area. This flexible design enables vertical, horizontal, oblique and spatial machining to be carried out in the simplest way using the same tool.
A processing tool up to Ø 355 mm can be attached to the main spindle. The main spindle is driven by a servo motor and has a swivel range of 140 ° with stepless angle adjustment. The swivel unit can be moved in both directions.
The additional spindle can accommodate a processing tool up to a diameter of 50 mm. It is driven by an asynchronous motor and can optimally machine particularly fine or difficult to access areas on the cast part.
The new machine for casting processing makes it particularly easy for the operator. With the intuitive teach-in procedure, sequence programs can be created without any programming knowledge. The operator simply moves the workpiece on the turntable step by step to the desired positions using the handheld terminal. This process can be saved on the control panel and thus reproduced as required. Multi-machine operation makes sense due to the simple handling.
The machine housing is equipped with a safety sliding door for operator safety. This sliding door is locked via a light barrier during the machining process and is unlocked after the machining process for manual loading and unloading of the cast parts.
