The flexible RFC 800 fettling center is designed for the fully automatic separation of sprues and circulation material as well as the removal of burrs in the rough production environment of a foundry. The plant has a CNC-controlled five-axis machine concept for spatial processing. Depending on requirements, the contour grinding cell can be equipped with a robot and offers the option of integration into transfer lines.
The system is programmed via standardized and DIN / ISO-compliant programming, as well as graphically supported CAD / CAM solutions. The program can be easily transferred from the PC to the system. The flexible hand control panel outside the system allows the fine adjustment of the program directly on the component in the cell.
For particularly high efficiency, the fettling center is equipped with a two-station loading device. Thus, parallel to the machining of the casting, a station for loading and unloading is available.
The main spindle is infinitely tiltable 270 ° and equipped with tools (a grinding wheel and a cutting wheel) at both ends. Due to the large driveways, vertical, horizontal, oblique and spatial processing can be realized in the simplest way with the same tool.
For the machining of inner contours, additional tool spindles are available as required.
The contour grinding and cutting system RFC has a 360 ° continuously rotatable workpiece holder. For machining, the casting is picked up by the machine carriage from the loading station and moved horizontally and vertically in the fettling center.
